    hi
I would say: close to the car and the camera not much above the ground. That way it looks "cooler" and more sporty. Just like your last picture.
Front Side and closer to the car.

I am no expert but you can try it. Maybe after the shot, little photo shop it.

What kind of camera are you using? The camera doesn't seem to cope well with high light into the sensor.

To correct this. Turn the lights off and park in a dimly lit alley, but increase the shutter time on the camera to about 30 seconds. This way the camera will capture all the available light and it will turn out MINT.

    See below.

Are you using a hood on the camera? That would cut out the glare as in 2nd pic. Liked the ones in the street with the high brick wall 5, 6 onwards.

Take low angle shots, low light shots at night to achieve the above. There was one parking lot light on during that shot. Just allow the shutter to accept all the available light and you will achieve some amazing results.

I've since then upgraded to a Canon 550D DSLR. How much are they over your way?

I'll go around the corner for the same shot hopefully tomorrow night with the DSLR so you have a comparison. I'd like you to know though, the old standard digital camera had the option to allow up to a 2 minute shutter shot. The above was 1:30 minute shot.

Just keep experimenting with what you've got. Any camera can take an outstanding shot. Its just the more expensive you buy, the better shots you get.

    Good luck mate.

    EDIT:

    Forget to mention...

I LOVE Your car. I want the rear spoiler so bad.
The irmscher spoiler from nicedeals will look mint... On either of our cars
