Advice on door trims

Need some help fellas.I currently have tortoise shell trim in the Signum but its not me at all. I was thinking of painting them gloss black or changing them with some silver Sri ones (I know the backs don't fit)but not sure.Today I bought some aluminium film and covered them but cant get it bubble and crease free so its not for me.I know all the work to remove the door inserts but thats not a problem.
Also anyone have an idea of costs and the best place to buy Sri trim ?

Wont that cause problems with the glue on the film ?

shouldn't do m8...window tints are applyed in the same way

depends on the type of vinyl your applying = the trouble is that you really need to get the vinyl hot a plyable so that it contours to the surface which is difficult when its cold ......

you can get replacement door cards and trims but they dont come up THAT often as there generally sold as a full interior

my advice would be to practice on the dash trims and ash tray etc ... then you can work your way upto the tortosie shelll door trims

Well had ago again and it all ended up in a ball on the floor with me swearing loads

Anway the options are Sri Vectra trim,I know dash strip is a straight fit.Door cards will be stripped of their silver strips and transferred to my leather door cards. Are the rear silver inserts the same length on the Vectra and Signum ?i know the shape of the door cards is different
