    Default Diesel - 85.6p / ltr!!!

    And thats available nationally..........

    1. Fill up at Tescos - currently our local one is £0.939 / ltr

    2. Use your clubcard - 1 point per £1 - so on 15 ltrs = 14 points = 14p = 0.929667p/ltr

    3. Pay using Tesco Credit card - 5 points for £4 spent = 17 points = 17p =
    0.918333p/ltr

    now the good bit...

exchange the clubcard points for days out vouchers - usually worth 4x the shopping voucher redemption.

    (14p + 17p) x 4 = £1.24 = £85.6 ltr.

    sounds good to me!!

I can never work out where to fill up these days - the prices are up and down like yo yo's - most near us are never the same two days running, so its almost impossible to find the cheapest without driving aimlessly around comparing prices, and using up more fuel in the process!!

Like my way of doing it - leave the car with Drinky and he fills it up for me - costs me - NOTHING!!!

Have you tried this site: http://www.petrolprices.com/
I use it all the time now, you have to register, but don't worry, you don't get spammed.
