You can fit one if you want though - I've done it to my Z20NET, plus a manifold with swirl valves, currently working on fitting a DPF (or PPF, as it will be once I'm done).

Jezzy, just curious but what advantage or benefit does having these on the z20net give you?

Well, you're going to laugh.... but I keep seeing all these threads in Engine & Drivetrain section - EGR this, swirl valves that, DPF Help, yada yada yada - and I felt left out as I couldn't join in with the discussion and say "On my engine I cleaned the EGR with carb cleaner etc etc etc". Now, however, I'm part of the gang.

Once the D(P)PF is finished, I'll be taking off the timing chain and fitting a belt instead. I'll use a second-hand belt from a scappy, so I'll be able to participate in "Help! How long will my belt last??" threads as well.

A DPF on a petrol? Man I'll have whatever you're drinking.
