Picked up my Sig 3.2 V6 today

Evening

Picked it up this morning and in love with it already. Its a 3.2 Elite with the slightly lowered suspension pack, drives stunning and as motorway miles home averaged nearly 35mpg which was impressive.

Anyways, some quick questions which my half-arsed searches didn't find quick answers to:

One of the back light lens has a small hole and crack - is it Signum only rear lights or can I put Vectra ones on? Thinking of smoked lens.....

LED dash kits - I'm far too far from the guy on here that has fitted for some members. I'm not bad at that kind of thing so is it a realistic DIY job considering I've never done anything with a Vaux dash?

Has 64k on the clock (genuine so far as checks prove), is it still 80k for the timing belt?

Nav CD is 2004, how much am I looking at for updating the firmware if needed and a later map CD?

Thanks in advance guys, did a lot of reading on here pre-purchase and seems to be my one stop shop for my Siggy needs.

*Edit.... oh and HID kit, how easy to fit?

Firmware CD will cost you £6 from a dealer. Have a look on ebay for latest mapping. Genuine CD's available there for a lot less than dealer prices.

The timming belt is best changed at 40K so yours "might" have been done then?

You can make Vectra tail lights fit the Signum, but you'll need a cutting torch and a lot of filler.

Thanks guys. First proper daily use drive today and did 29mpg but that involves a good chunk of heavyish traffic and a light foot, fairly impressed considering the powerplant.

HID kit is happening, first dark driving and now I see what is meant by the complaints on here over the lights output.
