    Default strange feeling..

well guys their seems to be a strange kinda of feeling thru the steering, feels like a slight knocking and you can hear it kinda thru the steering.

its very hard to describe, i was first only noticable when going very slow but now i can notice it when going faster..

one wheel on the right hand driver side i knew needed ballanced and when on the driver side it caused the steering to shake at motor way speeds, so i swapped it to the passenger side and the shake is away.

i know this hasn't helped much but any ideas? i feel its from the driver side..

the steering wheel is of to the right about 1 o'clock.

    Default

well i went out in the freezinf and took of the near side wheel and sorted the abs issue and then i checked for play, very ligght left to right or up and down, but when i go to turn the wheel it feels like a little bit of play then a clunk back and forward so im thinking worm outer cv?

then i checked the off side, it has some play left and right but little up and down, unfortunetly i forgot to check if their was play forward and back..

so with both wheels off the ground i started the engine and put it in second and let the wheels rotate while turning the steering and i didnt hear any noise..

this could be due to no weight or pressure on the cv? i bealive the track rod end needs replaced though as the outer tire is wearing.

the strut bearings where changed not that long ago, i dont have any spring sheeths but i doubt thats the problem.

    any ideas?
