    Default Dash Needles Failed

I know there is a similar thread on here, but yesterday on starting(already been out) the needles on the heat/revs/speedo and fuel gauge stayed at the bottom. No other issues with the car.

I drove 10 miles and they didn't move. Stopped, started again and all has been well since.

Is it likely to be a one off, or am i heading for something that needs replacing?

    Thank you

    Paul.

Happened to mine (06 2.2 Elite) the other day when the temperature was -6 deg C. Not done it since either. It came back to life when I briefly pressed the trip reset. I noticed there was a mileage difference between the speedo odometer and trip comp in the stereo display - both of which had been reset when I refueled.

My vectra 2005 facelift sri cdti150 did this twice what I got was all the lights came on then the Speedo, rev counter, temp and fuel gauges went to nothing and the lights went out but came back after about 10 seconds went to my mate he put it on the computer thing and it cam up with 10 fault codes and it was to do with that hole unit he did say it mite go on for 2 days or 12 months but at some point it will break down it not done it for a week now so fingers cross it stays that way because it about £200 to replace.
