    Default Anyone use sky broadband?

Were moving house in January and speaking to BT today it became clear that they'll want £130 to connect the line in the new house plus our current £28 per month for line rental and call package & then there's the £14 for our O2 broadband.

I phoned Sky and they can connect the line for £10 if I take their call package, line rental, broadband and sky+ with the entertainment bundle. All in all it sounds like a good deal and will only cost 50 pence a month more than were currently paying. My question is, does anyone use sky broadband and is it any good? Any regular problems? What about customer service etc...

    Cheers

    Dave

I have Sky BB, Talk, TV/HD etc and its all been perfect for the 3+ years its been in, no downtime at all, and the hardware and speeds have been very consistent.

I would recommend them all day long.

Had sky broadband and phone for about 18months, had sky tv for years. Did a deal to upgrade to Sky+, added phone, talk and broadband.

Only had one little glitch about a month ago, and the broadband went down for 3 days... but other than that no problems, and the price is good. Got unlimited 20Mb broadband for £7.50 a month, so not too bad.

Can't fault them really, unless you get through to india on the customer services, then you dont really get much joy, just keep trying until you get to the call centre in scotland, and they are brilliant.

No VM at the new address.

Good to know that theyre ok. Being a Mac user I dont tend to bother with call centres as they just get confused when you try to explain that youre not running windows.

Anyone know what type of wireless router theyre currently supplying?
