    Default Sudden surge of power at 2k revs - 2.2 DTi

    Evening all.

    Noticed over the past week or so I get a sudden surge in power at 2000 RPM and it's slowly becoming more obvious. Does this sound like the EGR valve or something else? It can't be felt as much with very gentle driving but I do feel it a bit just round town. I'll look in more detail tomorrow just wondering where to start.

    Mine does this, assumed it was just the turbo spooling up
