where is the reverse light switch on vectra 52 reg

Reverse lights dont work found a unpluged connection and bridged it and the reverse lights come on so the switch is unpluged just cant find the switch for the life of me

Reverse switch is usually attached to the gearbox.

i just cant see it and ive can see the plug to it thats come undone from switch its got to be around the gearbox as thats as far as wire stretches im wondering is it hidden somewhere you cant see

that will depend on which engine/gearbox you have fitted to the car.

If its the f17+ gearbox the switch will be screwed into the top of the box near the front of the housing.
