Car and spanner light now stays on?

At first the car and the spanner light used to come on for about 3 months of owning the vectra. i attempted to change the glow plugs the other day i onyl managed to change the 2nd and th 4th one. On a 2.0DTI. The 1st i didnt attempt because was so hard to get to in the freezing conditions, and the 3rd might have snapped :/. Becuase while taking it out it seem to be quite hard and then just went easy and just keeps twisting and twisting but never comes out. Well yesterday i got in the car and usual the spanner and car light comes on for about 10 seconds maybe abit longer but i drove for around 10 minutes last night and it was on constantly.

Is this something to do with the glow plugs or maybe like emissions becuase iv got the mot tomoz morning at 9, so cant really get the car very warm before it.

If youv'e snapped a glow plug it could be your problem, you need to change the other one also.
