    Default Sat Nav disaster!

Hi everyone - anyone had this problem? Fired up the Insignia at the weekend after a week on the drive (didn't go out because of the extreme weather conditions). Engine started as normal but the Sat Nav is displaying a white line across the entire screen about an inch from the base.

The line shows on all screens (including the 'off' black screen with Vauxhall badge). Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? The line is still there, despite having warmed up during the journey. Could be dead pixels, but seems unlikely to have such a uniform line?

Really want to get rid of this. Is audio/visual covered in the warranty and, if so, how difficult is it to remove the unit (ie how much damage can the garage do trying to pry it out)?

    Cheers
    Dave

yep should be covered by the warranty - either a replacement unit or screen (dependant on manufacturer of unit some of the screens are circa £1300) they SHOULD be capable of removing the radio unit without any damage to the surrounding area ... if your worried then take a piccy before you go in of all the surrounding trims and then the mileage on the display so they cannot query the age should you need to raise any issues
