Just after a few opinions guys , I sold an item on ebay a few week's back , and yesterday got a message from ebay informing me the buyer has opened a claim for non-delivery.
The item only stands me at a few quid , plus £1.70 postage.
The buyer put one of the reasons for the claim as I did not respond to their messages , ( I have not received any mesages from them )
Anyway now I have had a message from them asking for a full refund as they are snowed in and no mail deliveries at the moment.
So as it stands I lose the cost of the item plus postage , probably get neg feedback aswell , or do I stand my ground , as I'm positive they wil not return the item when it arrives eventually.
From what I can see , ebay are probably going to force me to refund , but I think it's unfair as the snow aint my problem !!!!!
AAAARGGHH
It's not about the money , it's the principle .
