Handbrake recall on 06 Vectra

Hi as the title says iv just had a letter from vaux recalling my model 06 Vectra 1.9cdti 150 est for a handbrake problem apparently the handbrake can randomly release itself anyone else had this recall???

Every car on here should have had one. It was on watchdog and is well covered on here for it.

I haven't had one but I brought my car second hand from a private non vx dealer, my car is an auto would this still be relevant for my car if so how would I go about getting it sorted ?

Wow really all this time and I didn't know ****... It just said our record show your car has not had this recall done and bring it in asap.

It may have already been done. Call VX to confirm if its been done. Any dealer should be able to tell you.

It may have been ignored from an old owner etc.

Not that I am aware of, but as I have said, a call to a dealer will tell you if any are outstanding.

I got a letter too on friday for my 52 plate.
