Finally Got My New Vectra

Hi, I just thought I would share with you all my delight in finally collecting my new car from Glasgow yesterday (well, new to me, 56 plate)



I am made up with it, I have a few mods to do in the coming months including parking sensors (thanks to Ian), twin exhaust, I would also like headlight washers but it may be too big a job for me!

The first thing I am DESPERATE to sort are the headlights they should be illegal!! I am going to take it in the morning to my local garage to try and align them better for now.

I have been reading on here and am thinking of the 6000 HID kit but not sure where to buy it from? Anyone bought one recently?

The guy who had it before me has also put led side lights on it and I am getting the error on the GID, this needs to be sorted at the same time as it is already driving me nuts!! Are these available now canbus friendly?

It has a few little things I need to sort but I am looking forward to getting it the way I want it.

Also, a great forum! Looking forward to sticking my sticker on the car when it arrives :-)

Get a set of mtec 501's for the sidelights, they are great bulbs very white not a hint of yellow and you can get them on ebay.

I am really pleased with it, it drives really well.

As for the alloys, I am parking feet away from kerbs!!

It set me back £5k, she has done a few miles but full service history and a **** load spent on her including a new set of alloys only 4 weeks ago, they are totally unmarked.......for now!!

As for the lights, I will order a set of them mtec's, to go with the HID kit, still don't know where the best place is? Hids direct or HidsforU? Al I know I hope they make the difference and I am able to see where I'm going in the dark !!
