    Default Tyres

    Afternoon all,

I went out this morning to get two new fronts for my 07 place Vectra, 215, 50, 17. Why is there so little choice?

    Any recommendations?

    Kev

Sure if you move up to 225/45 17, which is an approved size, you get a better and a cheaper selection too.

    Neuton NT5000's mate,

Get them from Neo Bros, i have them on my rears and compared to the goodyear things, so much quieter, and no issues with Grip !!

Can I put the 225/45/17s onto the same alloys? Also, i am replacing the fronts only meaning the backs will be 215/50/17. Will that matter?

Yes they will fit fine. There wont be that much difference as the drop in side wall size is offset by the extra width. Swap front to back then when the old tyres wear out replace them with the 225's too.
