has any1 upgraded their rear disc from the solid 278mm to the 292 mm vented set up ?

got a full set of front and rear brakes from a VXR i know the front back plate need cutting to clear the discs

but do i need to do anything to the rear backplate so the discs clear or is it just a straight swap ?

Its a straight swap, the disc shields are smaller on the 278 set up but tbh your probably better off trimming them as I fitted new shields to mine and that was such a pain trying to get the hub off to fit them.

The 292 back plates are around £15 each from what I remember but they had to come from Germany as no UK stock.
