    Default HELP !!! Heater Motor

    Hi guys,im new to this site so hello to all,obviously i have a problem.Some of you may have come accross the dreaded water thru the pollen filter scenario and wet carpets,Yes and after a few days of intermitent heater working or NOT as is the case now,ive decided i would do it myself.Can anyone tell me or show me some pics as to how i get the blower motor out.Mine has dual climate,have already taken glovebox out,but am now scratching my head !!!!!!

    what you going to change the motor for will it not turn? if its intermittent check connections first blue relay down in the footwell on left now you have glove box out then the resistor connectors and then the motor connectors if motor runs just oil it up

    does it spin by hand ? is there power going to it?

    soz for delay in reply,missus dragged me out xmas shopping yesterday,ive been working on it this morning,you can move the fan with ur hand,but it doesnt spin freely,heater now working on all speeds,but i no wot will happen tomorrow morning,when i come to turn on,it wont work,thats how its been for the last week

    Another thing ive just noticed is that there is no difference in fan speed on 6 & 7,this gets stranger by the day !!!!!!

    get some oil in it on the shaft and leave running for a while so oil gets right in bearing

    ok,will try that,do you mean thru the top (take pollen filter out) do i do it while fan is running or not.

    yes through pollen yes can be running or stopped

    Hello mate,gave it a good old spray with wd40,could definately tell the difference in speeds of fan on 6 & 7,let it run for a good half hour,although it seems ok at the moment,the speed of the fan is back to the same on speeds 6 & 7 again,no difference ???
