Strut brace fitting

Hi Guys,

Iv got a strut brace coming on monday to fit, I'm sure this is a stupid question but when I undo the nuts on the top of the strut, can I just undo them, fit the brace an put back on?

or will stuff fall out from underneath that is held in place by them?

Na you will be fine mate. Struts winna move unless you jack up the motor!

you just got to be careful with the clearance over the brake fluid bottle....I tried some washers to lift it up ...but still didn't clear it .

looking at mine my coolant bottle seems higher up but I was told by a guy with a 1.8vvt it will fit so we shall see!!

Yeah the temptation was too great for me!

Plus I was never any good with making things and covering the broom handle with foil proved too difficult!
