Bummer, thanks for the info, i bought a petrol 3 weeks ago as to avoid these, looks like its time to sell. was going to get a re-map but these things are fragile

Petrols are no-where near as torquey as diesels, its a common problem on diesels. No need to sell

I was just having a hissy fit as I thought I was safe, A remap will add a few extra LB's of tourqe, I would happily give a couple of mpg and a tad of refinment away for beign able to diagnose and repair my own car again.

its the best engine of the bunch, keep it.. I had my DMF out as VX told me it was fubar, truth is they were very wrong (surprise surprise), there was nothing wrong with the DMF.. I had a new one ready coz they said is was knackered etc, so i had the new one put in anyway.
