Refer to your hand book, I've never tried it so don't know if its possible to just pull the main fuse, but this may be linked to the immobiliser? so may not be possible, Not many will publicly say how to disarm an alarm system!, it may start a trend!!. If your alarm keeps going off why not try to solve the problem rather than just disarming it.
is it the ultrasonic's that are setting it off?
if so just press the button on the dash every time you get out of the car.
Are ye a mad car feef???? Only a question dont take offence by the the way
lol na im not thief thanks just had anoth with the alarm, ive tried pressing the button inside the car sometimes it works and sometimes it dont ive even unplugged the unit in the roof to but that never worked it now come up on the screen inside the car check safe guard
i think you may be able to disable the untrasonics by op-com /tech 2 have you made sure all the doors and bonnet and boot sensors are working ok? and the boot light is not staying on and there isnt a current drain on the car this may also trigger the alarm system
Hi mate i had the problem of the alarm going off randomly, it turned out the back up battery in the alarm siren in the boot wasnt holding its charge properly and kept setting its self off, i bought another siren off ebay and it was fine then
cheers i have op com on my laptop so ill have a look using that, i had red up on the back up battery problem so i may look into that one to but it comes up on the screen inside the car check safe guard tho anyone know wot that means my motor is a hatchback
Safe guard means it has been dissconnected from the siren.
If you go into the boot, the left hand side.
Open it up and someone will have pulled out the plug going into the siren. Put that back in and it will dissapear.
Pulling out the siren will merely stop the Siren activiating, however it re routes through to the horns so is twice as loud when it goes off.
id it to untill i reconnected it. .
