Default Changing from 215/50 to 225/45 (Pair at a time)

If I wanted to change to 225/45/17 tyres from my standard 215/50/17 (I think) can I do a pair at a time or do all 4 need doing at the same time?

Would it affect the ABS and traction control etc?
