A constant dripping of fuel is coming from the bleed screw on the bottom of the filter housing, I have taken the filter apart but still seems to leak. What’s going on??
p.s the filter is new
car - vectra c 1.9 120
Thanks for any help, Tom

Are you sure the leak is coming from the bleed screw and not running down the side of the filter and dripping off of the bleed screw?
If it is definitely the bleed screw, then either it isn't tightened up fully or properly or is broken. There is a grip on the bleed screw so give it a good tweak - just make sure you tighten rather than loosen it.
Could be the filter housing is split, if some gash handed fitter has at sometime broken one of the lugs off the back of the housing. This can also crack the housing, causing it to seep under pressure. A new complete filter might be needed, but they aint cheap.
£100
not cheap
before that make sure you've tightened bleed screw and lid on filter housing.....very tight indeed
also make sure lugs on housing aren't broken allowing pressure to force fuel out between housing and fuel lines
