Will an astra h gear stick fit?

Just been looking for vxr gear sticks but a reasonably priced one is like rocking horse ****!

However I do like the look of the astra h ones as they are a little similar (the non vxr ones)

But would it fit? Have any of you fitted one before? Pics?

i seen that one on ebay for £100, lucky ******!

does it matter if its a 5 speed? will it still let me put it into 6th? is so i can just get a new insert for it
