    Default Blanking off radiator

I thinking of blanking off radiator as a temporary measure in the cold weather until I get the stat changed.
What is the easiest way to do this?

I was going to fit a piece of plastic over the grille below the number plate, secured with cable ties. This seems to be the main airflo to the rad.

Hmmm. I had a mk2 astra with a duff 'stat and used a piece of tripled cardboard. Made no difference in the slightest.

Blanking off rads in the old days was fine, as it was just a water rad, but the Veccy has the aircon rad and intercooler in that group of rads, not sure of the effect on those by blanking the airflow.
