    Default Bolster Removal

    Hi Chaps,

How on earth do the rear seat bolsters come off?

I have tried a good sharp tug, but they aint moving.

I have tried using a pair of pliers to squeeze the metal, but no joy.

Am i doing something wrong here, or is there a trick to getting these blighters off!!

Do you mean the uprights either side of the back seat? Literally grip the top, give it a sharp short tug, the type that sends you through the front window when it gives.

I changed my whole interior a few months ago, had no trouble but didn't like doing this part!!

i have tried tugging from all different angles, and got to the stage where its either going to rip the metal out of the bolster or bend it so the bolster does not sit correctly.

There must be a way to remove these without brute force

    Thanks for the reply mate.

I managed to get mine off - problem is that no I cant get them back in the way they were - they feel loose/wobbly.

Anyone had this problem before and sorted it out?

I had a mare removing my bolsters and used a screwdriver to bend the plastic clips. The first part of this "how to" describes the removal procedure. HTH
