I have a BT HU but spotted this, seems to have an alright spec for a cheap unit!

I would give it a try for that money! Nice cheap way to get a handsfree / mp3 disc player / stereo / radio / aux in etc etc.

Unless you are going to be running some rockford subs, amps and some jbl components with a few x-overs, powercaps and a million tweeters, it should sound better than the OEM stereo!

I hate the BT ear thingys so bought the stereo and it works fine. Been searching for best deals on screenwash and thought lidl might have some.

Just fitted one of these in my dads Sportage, seems to be pretty good, recognised my N95 straight away. Sound quality is good for what it is too. Bargain

Think you misunderstood. My cd30 was binned 18 months ago. I have a Sony HU with BT, I just spotted this and thought I would share! I don't have an old one.
