    Default Is it overkill.

Am i being a little extreme, i have just fitted a second set of locking wheel nuts to the car.
Picked up my new snowflakes thanks to another forum member on friday and just 2 days before i ordered a set of McGard locking wheel nuts, now because these weren't going to arrive in time i also went and bought some Vauxhall ones friday morning from the dealer.

I take it it will be safe with two sets on as normally they tell you to only replace 1.

Don't see what the problem would be as long as they're done up to the correct torque. BTW, cars looking spot on mate

LOL, nah i've learnt a valuable lesson, next time i take it anywhere that requires the wheels to come off all standard bolts will be put back in place before.

Make sure you carry both locking nuts with you.

I would just fit one set as it's gonna be a complete pain in the ass if you don't have the keys at some point

So if they want your alloys they just break a window as you have to have them with you.......................

It must be alot easier than trying to get the nuts off!

You are damed if you do and damed if you dont! Also a lady i used to wirk with who live just around the corner has a new (pink) fiesta and she has had her alloys nicked twice over night in less than a year.
