Default Anyone else push bike to work?

I've been biking to work for a few months to shift some blubber and then the snow and ice landed. So rather than risk the veccy I ordered some studded snow tyres for the push bike and set of at stupid o'clock this morning.

Well to say the tyres are good is an understatement! funk me I cycle about 15 miles each way on back roads and country lanes aswell as main roads. The look on drivers faces as I sail by up the hill as they're sat spinning the wheels is priceless. But most of all it's really really nice cycling in the snow sounds daft but it's a right old giggle.

Anyone else as stupid as me?

In this day and age of choked roads etc and long hours at, it isn't as daft as it sounds plus it keeps you fit if anything else.

I cycled for many years cos I could never afford a car. Just wait till the novelty wears off.

Seriously though, good for you, mate. Watch out for black ice though. If both wheels lose traction the only way is DOWN.
