lost key

aryt guys

my m8 has a 53 plate 1.8 ls vectra c,his son got it more than him...

anyways him and son was in car other day and he lost his key,whats the process for him to go about getting another key ?

He needs the security info from the Car Pass for starters.

This will have the key number, immobiliser code, and remote code. All of which is required for a replacement key to be cut and coded to the car.

and he'll need to present his V5 to the dealer as well

i should think car pass and v5 would`nt be a problem........

so does he take car pass and v5 to the stealers ?

any ideas how much this is gonna cost ?

anything else i need to pass on/tell him ? besides watch your f****n keys you

probably cost between £80 to £120 depending on dealer charges for programming..

Tam, I don't know where your mate is but I had my last key done at Fiskens of Forfar and it was about 70 quid. Probably gone up a bit but they were the cheapest at the time
