After taking my bumper off to fix a pigeon problem I noticed my L/H foglight was full of water and knackered. My question is this are the foglights a sealed unit that requires replacing as a whole unit?
Cheers in advance

i was told by my stealers that it is a sealed unit, but Duncan told me this is b-ll--ks. they are dear to relace too £105 fitted.
I noticed your misted up light yesterday Paul. There's a few threads on it as it's a common issue. Basically if you turn the light on and the misting doesn't clear after 20mins then VX will replace the light under warranty (happened to me).
As yours is obviously knackered now I'd go to Vx first. If it's just the bulb then that can be replaced easily enough (doesn't need to be the whole unit therefore my previous comment to Steven! )

Vauxhall told me they would not be re-placing my fogs that are still fogged up. I drove the car very early to Aviemore one morning and kept the fogs on all the way (approx 2 hrs) and they were still fogged up and Vauxhall do not want to know, now they have their money.Originally Posted by Duncan

When mine misted up I was given a tip by someone at the dealers.
Remove bottom access cover, tape some cardboard over the front of the lens.
Then leave them on while driving for about 1/2 hour.
This worked for mine, but I noticed when I first removed access cover that there was some water in it.
