    Go to argoscompare.co.uk
    My contents only policy went from £110 per year to £35 per year
    Plus Argos sent me £15 in vouchers
    Overall this years policy cost me £20

    A little tip - start your "new" policy (if you're going to change), at least 14 days before your existing one runs out or at least read the small print of the new policy.

    Reason - many insurance companies don't allow you to make a claim in the first 14 days of a new policy commencing, so if something major happens in this period, you are well and truly screwed.

    This also applies to pet insurance. I won't go into detail but I've just shelled out over £1k for a genuine accident after 4 days of the new policy starting. Yes, there was a 10 day exclusion period in the policy wording and even the insurance Ombudsman won't see my point of view .

    try halifax ive been with them for 2 years now and cant be beat on price and its a name to trust

    I'm with direct line same as my car insurance for 2 cars got a good deal! Had no problems!

    I'm with GreenBee (or John Lewis Insurance, as they've just rebranded theirselves) Cost me a bit extra, but they include lots of things in the standard policy that others consider to be extras.
