    Default wheres my cup holders?

In my new 55 plate sri cdti vectra next to the handbrake there are no cupholders or even a space? its just a weird mount thing that has electrical connections and a spring clip thing? what was this used for and can it be removed to get the wee cubby hole thing that came in the preface veccy's?

    cheers

Thats the Phone Portal. Vauxhall sell a rip-off £100 mount that fits to it that you slide your phone into. Its to charge and provide a handsfree link, other than the bluetooth which you may or may not have. You probably have though, judging by your spec lol !!!

Bear in mind, these VX holders have been out-dated by new phones so unless you have an old phone, you dont have much choice lol I have this too and have been planning for a long time to change if for cup holders !

I remember reading somewhere it was to do with the address book. Can you turn off the part that syncs the address book to the car? Favourites was mentioned too and it caused the link to timeout if I remember correctly.

Put your main numbers in the Favourites section on the iPhone and set other groups to off in Bluetooth settings, worked for me, O2 even replaced the phone to try and fix the problem but I think its a Vx problem, my wife's phone which does not have anywhere the contacts on her phone worked from day one.
