    Default abs t/c

    abs and t/c light.

after abit of sliding about in the snow etc the above lights popped up and havent went off, i pklugged i the computer and it states left front sensor high voltage, so im thinking maybe the snow has got into the plug or something?
this is the same sensor that has been changed 3 times now so is still under warranty.. any one els had this problem? i hate not having abs in the snow!

why have they changed it 3 times, makes me wonder

had a similar issue with a terrano

in end it was a fault in wiring loom, broken wire which occaisonally connected and then didn't meaning ABS was intermittent, not good

before you get it changed again i'd get a good auto-electrician to check out the relevant circuits..

I had the same problem, have a look at the pics in post 14 here http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1201021
That might be the cause of your light being on too.

That makes sense, if the sensor has been changed 3 times are they sure it's the sensor?

It's normal for the Vec/Signum to do that in Snow/Icy conditions. After a while it should go back off again. It's just because the front wheels are turning and the rears aren't.

The same thing happens at rolling road days

As John said, the systems turn themselves off as they think there's a fault. A restart usually sorts it out.

the light was off when i turned on in the morning but after a bit of driving it appeared again, the first time i cleared a loose plug that the auto electricians left when the re-wired that hub and that caused the light to go out, then it came on after some skidding and wheel spining etc.
but now its on constant so i think it needs cleaned again.
