There is a BMW 116i, just around the corner, stuck on the hill, she has racing slicks on too and she wonders why she cant get up the hill... :-)

Once the tread has filled up with compacted snow it won't make any difference anyway. You'll just sit there spinning.

I speak from experience of trying to get up the slight hill to where I used to keep my car in a block of garages that was on an untreated road.

most people cant drive in the snow, you need to think your route ahead and try and avoid hills, the amount of folk driving about 3 feet from my bumper the last few days has amazed me, they are idiots, people overtaking in the snow as well, they cant drive to the conditions, and the idots that slow down just as they are nearing the top of a hill, causing them and all others behind to get stuck another danger is people walking on the road causing us to try and get round them. Most folk shouldn't go out in the snow.

The number of tailgaters I have seen in the last 5 days of really bad snow has left me speechless. Why do these people not recognise the danger if the car in front brakes hard? Puzzler.
