Radio reception

After a bit of an odd one. My Pioneer head unit a year or so ago and while very happy i would like to improve one aspect. The AM radio reception. I know in this day and age that this is not a very muched used medium but i like to listed to the football and its always on 810mw for radio scotland and 909mw for 5live. I used to get it with standard radio and get it fine in other cars just not in mine, gives a very poor signal.

Any ideas? Getting a pioneer steering wheel control adaptor after crimbo so will have the stereo out anyway.

John you are a genius. I have been looking at the accessories section in various audio sites but havent come accros these. Maybe just being blind.

you might want to call them first and check how many DB it boosts the signal by anything below 10 and i cant see it making any difference. dont forget to wire it to your fag lighter too

Been on the lookout for a pioneer Dab add on for my head unit but the ones i've come accross have went for silly prices as they dont do the units anymore. Only new units seem to be JVC.

Radio scotland broadcast games on their fm and am stations and the law of the sod dictates that when its my team its on am.
