    Unhappy locking nut

    just bought a vectra 2.2L elagance on a 52 plate but got no locking nut need one badley anyone know were i can get one from i think i need a three digit code to buy the right one my tyre size is 215/55/16/h thanks

    That's if the locking nuts are the original Vauxhall ones - if they are, they'll have a spinning collar on them. If there's no collar, then they're aftermarket.

    And if they're GM one's then sit down before they tell you the price of the part required.

    You do really need it if removing GM locking bolts, I know I've been there.

    I was lucky, I had the old locking key (which was chewed up) with the number written on it. Also had the number in the little case it came in.

    They'll obviously need to see your wheel bolts to determine what you have fitted, hope they've got one in stock for you.

    if your in the AA call them to a flat and tip the guy a few quid......this is what I did and he took mine straight off mate
