Just had a call from the garage letting me know the driveshaft boots need replacing as they're split and leaking. Theyve quoted me £112 to replace them. How bigger job is it to do them myself?

should be quite easy split ball joint undo hub nut pop drive shaft remove CV joint replace boot if inner boots as well pop drive shaft from gear box depends how many tools and how confident you are at taking things off and on would think there is a how 2 some where
Just been doing some googling and for the sake of £112 I'm just going to let them do it. They've got the front end apart to replace the springs so it'll be easier than me crawling around on a snow covered floor!
yes if they have it apart anyway do your self a favour ask for the old ones make sure they changed them should be split around not along you never know they might be short of work and just upping the days takings
Will do, Thanks.
