    Hi,
It could be done, but not without buying some additional hardware.

no not really, you could use something just this which will allow you to capture the program onto your computer, which you could then edit and record onto your dvd recorder.

The only problem you might encounter with the dongle that Elite put up is that it states in the product overview that it only allows you to capture from analogue devices, and correct me if I am wrong but I think Sky+ stores in digital format.

Could be wrong though, just might be something worth digging in to.

i think that when it says that its referring to HDMI as in digital, although sky+ stores digitally, its still puts out an analog signal via scart,s-video or phono. There shouldnt be any problem.

Yep as above there is also an optical out but that is just for audio (5.1) and a port labled RS 232 or RS 323, looks like it has about 12 pins, its very small about 2cm by 1cm with slanted sides.

You can record your Sky+ stuff to a video recorder, as I do that with the nipper's kiddy programs to takeaway with us.

So I assume you could do the same to a DVD recorder. You can get them fairly cheap now

    Cheers
