    Default car wash

Just wondered what make of car wash is used mostly on the site.I tend to use Meg,s NXT, the blue coloured one, it gives a nice soft feel when you wash the car, but can leave water spots, Today I tried the Megs NXT the brown coloured one, it did not feel as nice when I washed the car, but I did not get any water spots, both cleaned the car very well though, some pepole seem to like a lot of soap suds, do they help in any way, I use a hosepipe to wash the soapy water off and it seems to work ok.

i used to use autoglym shampoo but am now trying out meg NXT the blue one. seems alot slicker than the autoglym and a little more suds aswell, although they never transfer to the car very well.

in answer to your question ed, the amount of suds is not the key factor when comparing shampoos, apparently, the shampoo is there to make sure that there is a slick surface for the wash mitt/sponge/lambs wool mitt to remove the dirt and grime.

the water should feel a little greasy, that's my understanding, might be wrong though.

Bainie, i picked up a gallon of last touch last week, not used it yet as i've yet to finish the detailing spray which is why i bought the last touch. do you use it as a detailing spray?? i'm a bit confused by your post.

    cheers
