Temp guages

Hi, I am a new member. I now have an 04 Vectra CDTi club.
The temperature gauge does not work, nor does the outside temerature display on the dash. I know there is a sensor/sender somewhere on the car but where?

The outside temperature display is connected toa small sensor on the bottom grill on the front bumper. Lift the bonnet, look down and you should be able to see it. If memory serves it pulls backwards to get it out. They're only a few quid from the dealers. The water temperature sensor is normally by the thermostat, again if memory serves correctly. It is on mine but it's a 2.2 diesel. Someone else will be along that can help more on that one though!
