None as you have to take them off when you get to a clear road, So winter m&s tyres is whats best to fit.

The autosocks are supposed to be much easier to put on and take off. Snow chains are really only for use on hard packed snow as well.

Almost definitely more hassle than they're possibly worth.

Thats difficult to judge with out knowing all of the facts. If its too deep then don't put yourself or others at risk who may have to rescue you etc.

Where I am, we have about 2" max of snow. All the schools are shut! Unbelievable! My GF drove 11 miles to work, took an hour and a half due to the traffic. But she kinds has to go as people still need looking after by the mental health teams for the nhs.

Its really a tough one to call.

I use Klack n go on the 225/45/17's (2.8 elite) and they work fine. Just need to take them off when you hit dry roads.
