Just stay at home tbh, is there any where you need to go badly enough that its worth risking it?

The autosocks are supposed to be much easier to put on and take off. Snow chains are really only for use on hard packed snow as well.

Almost definitely more hassle than they're possibly worth.

I use Klack n go on the 225/45/17's (2.8 elite) and they work fine. Just need to take them off when you hit dry roads.

If on for a long time then they can damage tyres but for occasional use in this country no issues. Never noticed any damage to the alloys either - although I might have another look when i go back out this afternoon
