2.2dti sri springs?

Just driven over a speed bump and heard a massive bang from the O/S front corner. The car's now pulling to the right so I'm assuming that a spring has snapped?... Is it worth having it checked to make sure or can I be fairly certain in my diagnosis?

Can anyone recommend a supplier for a replacement and how much should I be spending? Does the N/S need replacing too?

Id get it checked asap, as the spring can uncoil and rub on the inside of the tyre and cause a blow out.
As for price, Genuine springs are overpriced, thorney motorsport do a good set of progressive springs for around 160 quid, thats a complete set...

Gone into the garage today for 2 front springs. The bloke says the parts supplier list 2 different types of spring for the SRi (SRi springs & SRi lowered springs) & he wont know which ones are fitted till he get it up in the air? Would I be right in thinking the lower SRi springs were fitted to the facelift model?

They've very kindly lent me a free courtesy car........ a daewoo kalos!!
