think you'll end up with a funny colour mess

i'd go to Vx tomorrow and get the orange stuff

question is why does it need topping up? leak somewhere?

never seen a yellow type? sure someones not pee'd in it lol? old school anti-freeze would have been blue, but all the CDTi's should be on the orange stuff.... You cant mix red/blue but god knows what the yellow one is?

right.. Looks like the yellow is a 'universal' one, so top it up with more of the same type.... either that or drain and refill system with 'orange'

Further info found out, its a top-up antifreeze you can add to either green/orange anti-freeze but doesnt state if to be used as the main bulk of it... So I'm assuming you can just add orange to it as 'SHOULD' mix ok...

Personally I'd drop it all and go for the Vx orange stuff,

Easiest for a top up is to get a small bottle of Prestone antifreeze that is formulated to mix with all types - it's expensive £6 - available in ASDA.

One thing I am sure of is that the old type of blue antifreeze SHOULD NOT be used. The days when the blue stuff was suitable for all types of car are long gone - it's all OAT 5 year life now.

This is pic from a Toyota radiator that had the wrong type of antifreeze mixed with existing, forming sludge! Unsurprisingly it was overheating....
