    Default will car run ok without this cover

    some fella has said he will carbon fibre this engine cover and put the vxr sticker on for 18 quid but i have to send it to him so would the car be ok for few days without the cover or not?

    agreed, i removed the covers on all mine.. lost the screws and never put em back on..

    dont put the vxr sticker on its not a vxr lol but i cant see why not as it just covers the coilpack (if its same as my 2.0t)

    its 1.8vvt mate, i know its not a vxr but as it stands for vauxhall racing im happy to promote the cause

    its your motor mate, just looks abit daft if you ever have to take it to a garage or anybody looks under bonnet to see no turbo and a tiny lump with a vxr sticker on, its a great looking car (jealous) i wouldnt ruin it.

    but you already have an OPC badge on your grille... having a VXR badge on the engine cover is a bad call... I know somebody on here who could get you a mondeo badge for the back if you like...
