    Default Help with Radio CCR2006

    Hi All,

Hoping someone can help. I've a 2003 Vectra c 2.2 DTi SRi with a CCR2006 fitted (radio/tape/cdc). It was in when I bought the car.

When I got the car, every time I started the car, the radio would come on if it was on when I last turned the engine off, or stay off if it was off when I last turned off the engine. THIS IS WHAT I WANT!!

Now, however, it turn on EVERY time I start the car, regardless of whether it was on or off when I last stopped it, as if it can't remember if it was on of off.

I've not got the manual, I must have done something to change this, but don't know what. I know that if I set the ignition logic to OFF, it will not turn off when I satop the car, so I need ign logic on.

Can anyone help? I'm going mad!!!

    Thanks in advance people!!

    Vehicle : Vectra Estate

    Trim : Elite

    Engine : 3.2 V6

    Year : 04

    Mileage : 000

    Default

    Switch on ignition.
Switch off the radio ( big on off button on radio)
Press pre-set buttons 1 and 3 simultaneously and keep pressed.
Switch on radio and keep pre-set controls 1and3 pressed untill you hear a bleep
before the confirmation bleep sounds the current state of ignotion logic is shown "ie" IGNI ON.
When the bleep is heard the state is changed "ie" IGNI OFF

Hope this is some help. I read it in my Audio manual.

The only suggestion I can suggest is that if you have the radio code, disconnect the battery, then recode it again and see if it makes any difference. It's only a 2 minute job so you've got nothing to loose.FELIXX.

That's brilliant, thank you. When I turned ignition logic off, the set was not controlled at all by the ignition. However, I turned igni logic back on, and it was back to normal - ie, it remembers if it was on or off when the ignition was last turned off!

I also had the same problem on the wife's Vec. Done the same - ie, disable then re-enable ignition logic, and it works normal again!
