    Default My speedo clocks keep stopin work vectra c help anyone

    Hi every one im new to this site and only just started useing it so can some one help my speedo,fuel rev keeps stopin working does,nt do it all the time only in a morning when its cold after ive drove the car abit it stops doing it,, when it does i just turn the car off and back on again and all is fine then few min,s later it all goes off again, once i get to work in a morning and the car is left all day while i work then drive home it does,nt do it realy puzzled with it

    ive looked to remove the clocks but havent got a clue how to or if some one has some pics on how to do it hope some one can help or tell me what to do to solve it realy getting on my t**ts now lol.......

    i had a similar problem on my old corsa c only the car would not start after i'd turned it off. My guess is its probably either a loose connection behind the dials or possibly a control module.

    There's a good chance it could be your ABS plug under bonnet removing this and making sure it's clean has cured a few members problems regarding speedo faults esp on DTI engines .

    Thanks guys ,,,the clocks just all stop working hand break light comes on abs light fuel stops temp stops as well turn the car of back on works again i will try the abs under the hood where abouts is it

    Try taking out fuse 17 passenger side of dash and make sure its clean and seated properly then look under bonnet just to the back of battery there's a big black plug,unplug then and make sure its clean and then make sure its plugged in correctly

    Hi mac ive unpluged it give it a clean so ill see what happens see if it does it again when i go out sortly ive also cheecked fuse 17 on the passange side seems ok my,n is a 15amp fuse i hope this is the right amp fuse if it is then it looks fine to me thanks gays on the help u have given me nice that people do try to help u on here for a change

    thank u ill keep u posted if it does it again after a good clean now and a check on the fuse

    Sorry bigmac i just noticed today when the clocks went off the side lights cam on turned the car off and back on again clocks worked and side lights went off i give up on this

    realy thinkin off getting rid

    same happend to mine last year.
    its the cim thats the problem and will need to be replaced.
