    Default 235/45 R17 Tyres!!!

After looking at a tyre size calculator i have discovered that the 235/45 R17 gives a closer speed difference to the standard 215/50 R17 that the 225/45 R17 does.

Is anyone running on these and will these fit on the standard Pre-Face SRi alloys.

If so anyone had any problems with them been to wide, rubbing etc???

    Cheers Tom

I ran them on a 7 x 17 rim on my Saab and in truth when measured the amount of rubber on the road is about 4>5mm wider only due to the clamping effect if you fitted the same tyre to an 8 x 17 rim it would be about 27mm wider than a 215/50 17 on a 7 x 17 rim.
