Well twin exhausts haha
finally got a dual exit after a long long long time of wanting!
seems to have a lower note on idle, and pull smoother

Looks nice mate
Looks nice, but I can't help thinking that Opel will have spent quite a lot of time and money designing the exhaust system to best suite each engine, and that therefore spliiting the flow from a single exhaust to two may adverseley effect your cars performance???

Looks great!
Whilst making an exhaust too free-flowing can reduce torque, most of the OP's exhaust still has the same diameter pipe. You're also assuming that Opel produced the optimum set up - they did, but only within a specified cost limit. If you remove the cost-restriction, as many people on here do, you can certainly improve the car's performance by changing it, not just detract from it.
I have long wondered if the sound and tone were different with the dual set up over stock as I assume the 2.0or 2.2 baffles are different internally,,,
On my to do list. Makes it look much better. Where did you get the parts?
Paul SRI150, tbh after seeing pics of your car, its exactly how i want mine to look! The job list gets longer, not sure whether to say thanks or not! Awesome job m8.
Thanks for the comment lads,
I know what you mean about changing stock parts, however as stated, I'm sure a single exit is far cheaper to fit in mass production than a dual, and also i doubt they would offer as an option if it would hamper optimum performance. The diameter of pipe is the same up to the y piece, then the 2 pipes to boxes are slighty slimmer.
The parts I got from eBay! Back pipe and boxes, direct replacement from a 2.2
